Hang Kenh
Communal House, also called Nhan Tho Communal House in
Sino-Vietnamese, is situated in the Du Hang Kenh Commune of Haiphong.
Built in 1856, the communal house was later expanded in 1905. The
main front hall, also called 'dai dinh', is connected to the back by a
tile-roofed bridge.
There are many valuable items here, such as a statue of Ngo Vuong
Quyen, an eight-pole palanquin (covered royal litter), several gongs
and other artifacts. |
