Red Door Décor is located in the centre of Saigon on a small
street which is home to more restaurants and entertainment spots
than shops. As its name suggests, it's the impressive red door
which attracts the eye and sets it apart from neighbouring
businesses. Opened just six months ago, Red Door Décor is run by
Dragan, an Australian who has lived in Vietnam for 10 years, and
his wife, both of whom are experienced designers.
The shop contains 1,000 different items of furniture and
accessories, and offers a wide array of goods made of both
traditional and modern materials like wood, silk, stone,
porcelain, metal and glass.
Red Door Décor's products are
fashionable, different and creative. Dragan and his wife's
designs combine original European and Vietnamese styles, and are
aimed at providing beautiful collections throughout the house,
whether it be in the dining room, the bed room or the kitchen.
"In creating a living environment which is beautiful,
comfortable and functional, the most importnat thing is to have
a harmony of all objects," Dragan says.
Solving interior design problems is one of the main activities
of Red Door Décor, but it will also make furniture to order. The
shop is currently expanding its market for foreigners living in
Vietnam, and is also catering to locals with its range of
reasonably priced high quality products.
