Lam Son commenced from and built upon a knowledge base of maintaining and developing Vietnamese traditional hand crafts among which lacquerware is their major product. Established prior to 1975 in Saigon as a small family-run enterprise called Vietnam Lacquer Export specializing in lacquerware, they have gradually expanded their market worldwide.
	Thanks to the open policy on the national economy carried out by the Vietnam government in late 1980s, their lacquerware and wooden-carved furniture with high quality and competitive prices have rapidly attracted most foreign visitors coming to Viet Nam. Their annual turnover reached over US$5m those days. As a result, LamSon company was officially formed in 1988.
To date, Lam son's lacquerware has been more and more interested in and consumed by customers from over 25 countries. They have got to maintain that foundation and will prepare to get into the new market, huge and promising in the United States once the bilateral commercial agreement is signed by the two governments.
