The owner of this bar is not only a wine collector, but also a producer of wine. Mr. Ly has personally created around twenty Vietnamese wines. Among Hanoi connoisseurs, he's recognised as having perhaps the capitals finest wine collection.

After retiring ten years ago, Mr. Ly opened his bar as a place to indulge his favourite pastimes, drinking and talking. The bar, complete with a gentle backdrop of bird-song, is a favourite hangout for seasoned drinkers. They never worry about having a few too many: Mr. Ly serves a special blend of tea, which reputedly sobers people up instantly.
