| Belying its cramped, external
apperance, Tran Le Silk's products are quite extensive and
diverse. The shop has everything from the smallest silk
handkerchief to artful fashion goods like bags, clothing and
clogs. "Japanese travelers are always surprised to learn that
all products here are hand-made by skilful craftsmen from the
outskirts of Hanoi," says Le Huu Trung, the owner. "Quite a few
of their creations are not at all inferior to those of the big
designers." Tran Le Trading and Producing Company's most wanted
products are fashionable embroidered handbags and logs with
oriental decoration. |
